Treatment at Sochwell — how care actually works

Three levels of care, one team. Most people are treated as outpatients — a consultation, a diagnosis, medication or therapy, and reviews until things settle. Some need day care for a few weeks. A few, in a genuine crisis, need admission.

We treat depression, anxiety and panic, bipolar disorder, OCD, schizophrenia and other psychoses, ADHD in children and adults, autism spectrum concerns, opioid and alcohol dependence, epilepsy, headache and migraine, sleep disorders, and dementia.

A consultation in our Meerut clinic starts at ₹650 and an online consultation at ₹800 — against ₹1,200 typical in Meerut and ₹1,500–3,500 for online psychiatry elsewhere. You get 20–30 minutes in clinic and 30–60 minutes online, not the 5–10 minutes that is common.

Admission is not a failure. The ward runs in four stages — safety and settling the crisis, stabilisation with treatment tuned daily, recovery with therapy and family sessions, and returning home with a plan and the follow-up already arranged.

Alongside medication we provide CBT and other talking therapies, virtual-reality exposure therapy (VRET), neurofeedback, tDCS, family therapy and child therapy.

You are entitled to be told the plan, to know the cost before it is incurred, to a second opinion, to your records, and to refuse any treatment. Sochwell is registered with the State Mental Health Authority under the Mental Healthcare Act, 2017.
